Your Egypt Desert Safari tour starts at 8:00 AM from your hotel in Cairo or Giza where our professional and qualified team from legend Egypt Tours will meet and greet you and transfer you by a private air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle to the desert towards El Fayoum city on Cairo – Fayoum desert Road Your first visit is the beautiful and famous Wadi El Rayan which is a Depression in the Western Desert of Egypt. Wadi El Rayan is an amazing protected area approximately 42 meters below sea level and is distinguished by its two connected lakes. It's one of the world’s best places to visit as it contains Egypt's one natural water fall created due to excess agricultural water run off.
Wadi El Rayan has unique water cascades surrounded by desert landscapes that give a unique impression to the viewer and is considered a place that rarely seen in world your journey on Egypt desert safari will continue to the desert towardwadi hitan valley of the whales , a UNESCO world Heritage site which is one of the most important paleontological sites in the world and discover the remarkable sceneries by going through 40 Km desert track inside Wadi El Rayan Protected area toward Wadi Hitan as one of the important protected places in egypt The way into the Wadi Hitan area go throw a very amazing place on mudawara Mountain West of Lake Qaroun and offers wonderful desert panoramic views including the Lake.
In Wadi Hitan You'll find an ancient museum in the middle of desert. Wadi Hitan's fossils show evidence of whale evolution during a period of about 40 million years ago from sea creatures living on land to sea inhabitants, here you can find fossils of some whale types and also fossils of sea cows and other organisms such as sharks, molluscs and plants. You will then enjoy lunch in a Bedouin tent with a bedouin tea and get back to your hotel in Cairo
