Start your Siwa Oasis Bahariya and White Desert with an early pickup from your Cairo hotel at 6:00 AM by Aten Tours. Drive along Egypt’s North Coast to El Alamein, with a short break along the way.

Explore the El Alamein War Museum and discover the story behind the major World War II battles that happened in this place. Then go to the Commonwealth Cemetery. Continue to the Temple of the Oracle also known as the Temple of Amun, where Alexander the Great is believed to have visited the oracle. Then explore the remains of the Temple of Amun at Um Ubayda, dedicated to the Siwan gods of Siwa Oasis.

Next, visit the Siwan House to learn about traditions, culture and daily life. After lunch at a restaurant relax at Cleopatra Spring, a natural spring known for its warm, mineral‑rich water in Siwa Oasis.

Return to your eco‑lodge for the night, in Siwa Oasis.

This ancient site features rock-cut tombs that were built during the 26th Dynasty. Take time to admire the Tomb of Si Amun and the famous Crocodile Tomb, which is especially known for its preserved and colorful paintings.

Next, make your way to the Bedouin village of Abu Ali. Here you can experience traditions and feel the calm of the desert surroundings. You might also choose to visit Dakrour Mountain, a place of natural beauty and cultural importance in Siwa.

Later in the day head to Fatnas Island. There you can enjoy a sunset over the desert landscape. Relax with a hot drink take photos of the scenery and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. When the sun sets, return to your eco-lodge for the night.

When the sun sets, drive a 4×4 Jeep up Black Mountain to see the ruins of the English House and to enjoy views of the oasis, Salt Lake, and the date palm groves that surround them.

Proceed with the Bahariya Oasis tour by visiting the Museum of the Golden Mummies. After that, go to the Tombs of the Nobles at Qasr Sleem, where you can see the tombs of Zed‑Amun‑Ef‑Ankh and Bannentiu. Then wander through the Temple of Ain El Muftella and the Temple of Alexander the Great before you set off toward the White Desert.

Drive past the Black Desert and through El Haize Valley, stopping at Crystal Mountain and the beautiful Agabat Valley. Reach the White Desert. Watch the sunset while the guides set up dinner. I feel very relaxed when watching the sunset in the White Desert.
