Your representative of Aten Tours will welcome you upon your arrival at the International Cairo Airport in the airport hall, holding a welcome board with your name on it, then escort you to your hotel in Giza in our private air-conditioned vehicle.

Start your day with an appetizing breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, and then meet your qualified Aten Tours tour guide. Enjoy your Giza pyramids day tour in your own private air-conditioned car. You will experience Egypt's most distinctive sites of antiquity.
Then take your steps toward the Great Pyramid of Cheops (built more than 4,500 years ago and is the largest, oldest, and highest pyramid at the Giza pyramid complex). Have free time for taking photos or, optionally, go inside the Great Pyramid with explanations by your guide about the history of the Great Pyramid of Cheops. After that, visit the Pyramid of Chephren, which is renowned for its great form and its relation to the Great Sphinx. Finally reach the Pyramid of Mycerinus (the smallest of the three pyramids, and have the option to take photos by riding a camel for a wonderful picture of the pyramid plateau.
Head toward the mythical Great Sphinx, the statue carved from one colossal block of limestone, with the body of a lion and the head of a king, which protects the ancient necropolis. Follow this by visiting Valley Temple, which has been used for the mummification of kings and the funeral ceremony and ritual for kings.
Then proceed toward Memphis, the first capital of the ancient kingdom of Egypt, which contains great statues and relics. Then move toward Saqqara Necropolis, where King Djoser's Step Pyramid, the earliest known of the great stone pyramids in Egypt and designed by Imhotep, is the first pyramidal stone building to stand taller than the Giza pyramids. Also, visit tombs for nobles and their decorations, visit the Pyramid of Teti with its ancient inscriptions & Hieroglyphs inside.
Lunch will be provided for you in a local restaurant in Saqqara, and after that, you will return to your hotel in Giza for an overnight stay.

Your trip begins with the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is considered one of the richest collections of antiquities in the world, containing a lot of pieces from different eras of Egyptian history, like the treasures of Tutankhamon and some royal possessions) which are displayed separately (you will be amazed when you see Tutankhamon’s gold mask, throne, and a number of the precious treasures discovered from his tomb).
Then your trip extends with the citadel of Salah El-Din, which is the seat of the Egyptian rule for hundreds of years, visit the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, which is the symbol of the Islamic Cairo (a wonderful example of Ottoman art, which is characterized by domes and minarets).
Later on, you will move to Old Cairo, where you will see the Roman fortress of Babylon and visit the Hanging Church of Virgin Mary, which is suspended on two of the Roman fortress towers. Then visit the church of St. Sergius, which the Holy Family believed they visited during their journey in Egypt, and then visit the oldest Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Enjoy your delicious lunch meal, then you will head to visit the Bazaar of Khan el Khalili, one of the most ancient markets in the Middle East. This old market will allow you to experience the unique atmosphere of Islamic Cairo, where you will find so many shops selling spices, perfumes, and souvenirs.
At the end of your day tour, you will be escorted to your hotel in Cairo to overnight.

After your breakfast in the hotel, you will be picked up by your English-speaking Egyptologist guide for your one-day trip to Alexandria, which is part of Egypt Classic Tours. You will depart from Cairo in a deluxe air-conditioned vehicle. The duration of the trip is two and a half hours with a brief break.
During your visit to Alexandria, the beautiful city by the Mediterranean Sea, which is the second capital of Egypt, built by Alexander the Great in 332 B.C. And start your visit by Pompey's pillar, which is a Roman triumphal column built in 297 B.C. After the victory of Emperor Diocletian in Alexandria, followed by the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which is the largest Roman cemetery, built in the early 20th century as a fusion of Egyptian and Roman art.
Then, move to Qaitbay citadel a 15 th century fort constructed in the same site of the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria that is one of the seven wonders of ancient world, you will proceed your tour to Bibliotheca Alexandrina this modern center for reading and culture was built in inspired from the great ancient library and this center is representing the ancient center of knowledge that was the first in the world.
