Your guide picks you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza in the early evening to begin your Private Cairo night tour. You’ll head first to downtown Cairo, the city's commercial center, for a short walk past its shopping streets and malls.
At Cairo Tower, the 187-meter landmark on Gezira Island, an elevator ride takes you straight to the observation deck, where the Nile spreads out below in a way that photos rarely capture well in daylight.
From there, the walk shifts into something older: Al Muizz Street, where the Barquq Mosque and School, El Aqmar Mosque, and the Qalawoon Complex still stand much as they did centuries ago.
