13 Days Luxury Egypt Tour | Cairo, Nile Cruise & Oasis

Upon finishing an outstanding breakfast served in your hotel, you’ll drive to the Giza Plateau where you can marvel at the Pyramids of Giza with your knowledgeable guide by your side to assist you all the time to assure a wonderful day. You’ll discover after the pyramids, Cheops’s son and grandson’s dead, also the awesome Great Sphinx that Chephren, the father of the second great pyramid, built to guard his necropolis. Your final site visit for the Giza Pyramids Tour will be to check out the Valley Temple, the one and the only one left among Chephren’s Pyramid Complex.

In the old part of the city you’ll have a visit to Coptic Cairo; you can enjoy sightseeing at The Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church (St. Sergius Church) and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. That will be really an indelible day trip for you! You may relax for a bit when they will bring the lunch. Then continue your day tour to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) and then the most historic market, Khan El Khalili Bazaar, with a unique walking experience before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast around 6 A.M you will check out from the hotel and start your Egypt Desert Safari Trips. You will meet our tour guide who will take you to Bahariya Oasis in a modern vehicle equipped with air-conditioning (it’s a journey of about 4 hrs from Cairo).

On arrival we visit:

• The Museum of the Golden Mummies
• The Tomb of the Noble Man of the Oasis (local ruler of the oasis in the past)
• Alexander the Great Temple in Bahariya Oasis (he built the city of Alexandria)
• Muftella Temple for Bes, one of the ancient Egyptian famous gods

In the meantime we will have lunch at an Egyptian Bedouin restaurant, then we check in to the hotel for a free afternoon.

At evening time we will start climbing the Black Mountain for enjoying the landscape of Bahariya Oasis during the sunset. The temple and the ruin on the top of the mountain (The English House).

In the morning, enjoy your breakfast before visiting the wonderful Salt Lake to enjoy the views and take some memorable pictures. Experience the breathtaking Golden Dunes and learn how to climb the palm trees just like the locals.

Our first stop on our adventure to the White Desert will be the Black Desert, a region full of volcanic mountains covered with large quantities of volcanic rocks. Next, we'll visit the El Haize Valley, located to the south of Bawiti in Bahariya Oasis.

We'll stop to see the quartz crystal at Crystal Mountain and then spend a few minutes in the charming Valley of Agabat before camping in the White Desert between the stunning white limestone and chalk formations of Egypt's Western Desert.

Enjoy a traditional mint morning tea served by locals after breakfast. Afterwards, travel to Farafra Oasis where you can indulge yourself in the natural beauty of the sulfur hot water spring of Bir Setah (Setah Well). Then you will visit the house of the local artist Badr, the Mud-Brick Museum, and Al Qasr Old Town.

We drive from Farafra Oasis to Dakhla Oasis for three hours to visit the Deir El Hagar Temple, built by the Romans in the middle of the desert.

You will see one of the most impressive rock-cut tombs in Egypt at El Muzawwaqqa, belonging to the era of the great Roman kings. After lunch, take a walk through the Islamic village of Al Qasr, established in the 12th century. See unique old houses with their narrow streets, old oil press, old grindstone, old courthouse, and old prison. Also visit the old schools and the Ayyubid Mosque in Al Qasr Old Town. Otherwise, relax by a pool-like hot water spring in the oasis.

Enjoy the day at the Oasis Hot Springs for the sunset at the edge of the Great Sand Sea, and spend time in the green farms of Dakhla Oasis, surrounded by dunes and blue skies. Then, after dinner, drive to the Dakhla Farms to explore the wonderful dunes and stunning sunset.

If you need a romantic experience and would love to see the green village and the beautiful Rose Mountains from the top of a cliff, stay overnight at the Desert Lodge Hotel in Dakhla Oasis.

On your sixth day, you will visit Kharga Oasis. You will enjoy your breakfast and get ready to start your tour at Dakhla Oasis, where you will visit Qasr El Labkha, a Roman fortress on the old caravan route, the famous Darb El Arbein (40-Day Road) connecting Egypt to Sudan, and the Kharga Museum.

Next, visit the Temple of Hibis, Nadura Roman Exterior, as well as Bagawat, the oldest Christian cemetery in the world, with its chapels painted with still-preserved Old Testament Biblical murals.

We'll head to Baris Oasis, the smallest and cutest of the Western Desert Oases. We'll visit the Temple of Dush. Camping in the golden dunes at Kharga Oasis is a truly unforgettable experience. Not only are the dunes beautiful, but the campsites are incredibly spacious and comfortable. There's also a wide range of activities to enjoy in the area, such as hiking, swimming, and birdwatching.

Imagine waking up to stunning views of the Golden Sand Dunes and then being transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle from Kharga Oasis to Luxor, one of the most famous ancient cities in the world. You'll have plenty of time to explore on your 5-Star Nile Cruise.

Lunch will be served on board your Luxury Nile Cruise. Your Luxor East Bank Tour includes visits to the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest religious complexes in the world, and the spectacular Luxor Temple, originally built during the reign of King Amenhotep III.

You'll be able to enjoy your dinner before spending the night on board your Nile Cruise.

A Nile River Cruise will provide you with a delicious breakfast overlooking the Nile River before continuing your Luxor Tours. Start your Luxor West Bank by visiting the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, known as the Colossi of Memnon.

Then, continue your journey to the Valley of the Kings, where you'll see the burial grounds of 62 pharaohs of the New Kingdom, including the famous King Tutankhamun and the legendary King Ramses II. These majestic tombs were sculpted into the mountain and are decorated with stunning paintings, making them a must-see during your Luxor Sightseeing Tour. Finally, don't forget to admire the priceless artifacts preserved within these royal tombs.

The Temple of Hatshepsut is an incredible place to visit. It is the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the first female ruler in the history of Egypt, and it is a truly fascinating place.

Your delicious lunch will be served while sailing to Edfu, and afterwards, you'll enjoy a relaxing dinner aboard your Nile Cruise.

Your breakfast will be served on board your Nile Cruise before you head to the well-preserved Edfu Temple, the magnificent Temple of Horus, dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky. Continue to the unique Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the worship of the crocodile god Sobek. Lunch will be served on board your Nile Cruise while sailing to this remarkable ancient temple.

Then you'll continue sailing to Aswan. Tonight's dinner will be a memorable experience, and you'll enjoy another relaxing night aboard your Nile River Cruise.

After breakfast on board your Nile Cruise, start your Aswan Sightseeing Tour, including the famous Aswan High Dam, one of the greatest engineering projects in modern Egypt. Then visit the magnificent Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Located on an island, the temple is reached by a relaxing boat ride, offering one of the most beautiful experiences in Aswan.

Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk at the Aswan Granite Quarries, where many ancient Egyptian kings obtained the massive stone blocks used to build their temples and monuments. Experience a delicious dinner aboard your Nile River Cruise and overnight in Aswan.

After breakfast, check out from your Nile Cruise and enjoy some free time in Aswan. You can also choose to take an optional Abu Simbel Tour from Aswan by land.
