Arriving to the city you will be driven to the magnificent temple dedicated to the falcon god Horus which is widely regarded as the best preserved cult temple in Egypt, ancient Egyptians believe that according to the story of Goddess Isis the falcon headed God Horus got his vengeance over his uncle Seth for his father Osiris murder.

The walls of the temple of Edfu bear plenty of writings from which we gain invaluable information about the period when the temple was constructed not only about the temple but about mythology and the ancient Egypt religion and the people's life.

Then proceed to witness the Temple of Kom Ombo which dates back to 1350 B.C. And it was built at the orders of Ramses II it lies in a city on the shore of the Nile bearing the same name. The divinity that the inhabitants worship in that temple is the crocodile headed God Sobek, but people replaced it with Haroeris for it was believed to be an evil divinity.
